No Bullitt 24-Hour Release Feed
The Bullitt County Detention Center website links to a Current Inmates JailTracker. It does not provide a filter for releases today, a prior-custody list, or a public archive. No official Bullitt County 24-hour release feed, sheriff release app, archive cadence, or released-photo retention window was located. The live roster is therefore useful only as a present-custody check.
A name that no longer appears has not become a confirmed release. The person may have bonded out, completed a sentence, transferred to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, moved to another county, entered federal or immigration custody, or disappeared because of a spelling issue, correction, delay, or outage. The missing name supplies a lead. The jail's own release entry supplies the local exit time and disposition.
Check Bullitt Releases Today
Use a named-person process. It respects the limits of each database and avoids turning a current roster into an invented release report. Record the spelling, identifier, source, event label, and check time as the search moves between systems.
- Search the official Bullitt JailTracker. A current match means the person is displayed as housed. No match means only that the person was not found on that display.

Terms matter. Bond ends physical county custody while the case continues. Parole is conditional community supervision after state imprisonment. Probation is a court-ordered community sentence. Request a Bullitt Release Entry
The Bullitt open-records procedure requires a written request. For an inmate record, give the person's full name and date of birth. Type or print the request legibly, identify the records, include the requester's printed name and signature, and provide a mailing address. Email and mail submissions are accepted at any time. Hand delivery and general business access are listed for weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays.

That email is for requests, not status questions.
Inspection by scheduled appointment is free. Black-and-white copies are ten cents per page. Existing electronic records are free through the posted size threshold; larger responsive material is supplied on a five-dollar flash drive with postage charged. The stated five-business-day period is for the agency response, not a promise that every record will arrive within five days. The jail need not create a new day list or answer a question when no such record exists.
Bullitt Release or Continued Custody
A current JailTracker match supports present display at Bullitt County Detention Center. A jail release entry supports the end of that Bullitt booking. Neither alone answers whether another authority took custody. Check the destination field and the correct downstream system.

A court order can explain the legal authority, but jail processing and other holds can delay physical exit. Preserve both dates when they differ. Call the first the authority date and the second the custodian's recorded release time.
When Bullitt Processes Releases
Bullitt publishes three daily periods when releases or bonding are not conducted: 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. to noon, and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. These blackout periods are processing limits. They are not promised exit times, and they do not identify a release door.
The same inmate services notice routes weekday bonding from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through the Judicial Center. After hours, on weekends, and during court closures, bonding is routed to detention-center door 118. Door 118 is a bonding location, not proven to be the exit used for releases. A same-day search should allow for the legal decision, bond processing, records entry, another hold, and physical movement to occur at different times.
Bullitt Bond Release Is Not Discharge
Kentucky Pretrial Services interviews eligible arrested people and supplies information to a judge. When a judge authorizes release, the pretrial specialist can notify the jail and clerk. Bullitt-inclusive state court data separates administrative, non-financial, financial, transfer, detention-until-disposition, and other custody-ending outcomes. Those categories show why one word, released, is not enough.
A bond release ends the immediate confinement while the criminal case remains open. It is not sentence completion, dismissal, or final discharge. Check the court file for the actual conditions and later case events, then use the jail entry for the physical exit. This distinction is especially important during a 24-hour check, when the roster may change before all court records and notification feeds display the event.
Bullitt's Current-Only Roster
The official site labels its JailTracker link Current Inmates. No official release archive, update cadence, historical filter, 24-hour report, 72-hour report, or inmate-release mobile app was found. Online disappearance is also not a retention rule. The underlying booking record, photograph, court file, and release entry may follow separate official retention schedules.
For a wider recent period, the Bullitt County 72-hour release process uses the same source chain but puts more weight on date-range records and delayed updates. Neither window should be compiled by comparing screenshots of the current roster. A named-person request plus VINE, court, and applicable KDOC evidence is the defensible path.
For older events, the Bullitt court file may preserve the bond, disposition, judgment, sentence, probation, or later order after the live jail display has changed. Court authority still should not be substituted for the physical release timestamp. If the matter is sealed, expunged, juvenile, or otherwise confidential, limited public results may be the proper legal outcome. Respect that boundary and do not attempt to reconstruct restricted information from unofficial copies.
Bullitt Same-Day Source Order
Speed should not erase source boundaries. VINE may be the fastest notice, while the detention center record is the better source for the exact local exit and disposition. The court file explains the judge's authority. KOOL and KDOC reports matter only when the person is in the state correctional universe. These sources can update at different times without any one of them being false.
Write a narrow conclusion from the strongest matching evidence. State that Bullitt recorded the booking as ending at the listed time with the listed disposition. Do not broaden that into a claim that the person is free unless relevant holds and transfers have been checked. If the disposition is unclear, request the field legend. If two sources conflict, keep both timestamps and ask each maintaining agency to explain its own record.
